🛡️ 1. Local Desktop Execution (Zero Telemetry)
Josecast Suite is a standalone desktop application. We recognize that foundry designs, casting layouts, and proprietary metallurgical calculations are highly confidential trade secrets. The software does NOT collect, monitor, upload, or transmit any of your engineering inputs, parameters, or calculation results to our servers. All mathematical processing occurs locally on your machine.
💳 2. Payment Processing & License Data
When you purchase a lifetime license, the transaction is securely handled by our Merchant of Record, Paddle (paddle.com). Josecast does not collect, process, or store your credit card information or financial details.
We only receive your name, email address, and geographical region (for tax compliance) from Paddle. This information is strictly used to generate your software license key, deliver updates, and provide technical support.
🌐 3. Website Analytics & Security
Our website utilizes Cloudflare for DNS routing, DDoS protection, and SSL encryption. Cloudflare may collect basic, non-personally identifiable web traffic data (such as IP addresses and browser types) solely for network security and performance optimization. We do not use intrusive third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
